I miss my bed

I miss my bed because I can no longer sleep in it. I can no longer sleep in it because I have to sleep in the living room. Our living room is so messy and I am suprisingly too tall for the couches (I know--a miracle). This is what our basement looks like:

Yes, we are messy--but I swear we are not THAT bad. Let me explain...My inlaws have had a plumbing problem with their kitchen sink. With multiple days of not being able to use the dang thing we were wondering just when it was going to be fixed. After coming home for the day last week, I noticed our bed was wet--and no it wasn't Jess who caused the accident. There was actually WATER coming through our light fixture from the upstairs kitchen pipe that busted! So the nice plummer men came over and told us that our mattress was pretty much a biohazard (luckily we get refunded from the insurance company). They also ripped out the ceiling and the walls! So, this is why I miss my bed. P.S. Does this post remind any of my old Glenwood roomies of something ;)

The long cement walk to the bathroom

Our poor biohazard room...I miss my bed.

Ewwww. Not fun. Hey, at least it's not toilet water soaking your entire apartment and instead of actually cleaning up the nastiness, just fanning the carpets till they dry...

Did you have your upstairs neighbor flood their toilet at the Glenwood? I lived at the Glenwood with my sister Callie and when we lived there our upstairs neighbor flooded their toilet and we woke up to our whole bathroom and sink area covered in like an inch of water. None of the lights worked or anything! So gross! We had to put a lamp in the bathroom to shower! And all they did was lift up the carpet and put a fan in for like 3 days! It was winter too, we were FREEZEING!
Is that was happened to you too!!! If it did that is so wierd!

Wow, I didn't realize how bad it was. But a new room could be a nice thing:) You should have my mom tell you about the time we had a pan of oil catch on fire. I think she was initially upset with me and Casey, but in the end they got new carpet and new countertops.
