Crew is 2
Crewser at 2:
-You're one big ball of energy; you have Mom and Dad running after you all day trying to stop you from destroying the house or hurting yourself.
-You're learning so many words and starting to put together sentences. Some of the words/phrases you say: "Mommy/Daddy, watch me"; "oooohhhhh" (if you see something yummy to eat); "I wa wu much" (i love you so much).
-You love going to nursery class on Sundays and love to wear church clothes.
-You love cards and call them "play sits". I don't really know how this came about, but you are obsessed with them.
-You love your grandparents. In fact, any elderly person you call "grandma or grandpa"
-You are not a cuddler, but once in a while you will give a random hug to Mom and I LOVE it :)
-You love your stuffed bulldog named Bugley. You've had him since you were one, and I think that's pretty much the only toy/blanket/comfort item to which you are attached.
-You love sports. Your dad has rubbed off on you. You call basketball "dadaball" and bowling ball "boinka ball"; you have quite a good hand and good coordination as you can make baskets in your hoop and hit a ball with a bat. You also can chuck the ball really hard (which kind of freaks me out). You're dad is quite proud of you because you have such good form and follow through when pitching a baseball, shooting a basketball, or rolling the bowling ball.
- You are so curious. You are into EVERYTHING. Nothing is safe with you around. One of your favorite things to do is find an ant outside, put your eye up to it, pick it up, squish it, and say,"Mommy, look!".
-You love to eat pancakes.
-You love Alvin and the Chipmunks.
-You think you can do what all the adults do.
-You love to dance.
-You love books.
-You hold a pencil with perfect form! I'm so proud of you!
-You can draw a basketball.
-You know all your letters of the alphabet and your numbers up to about 13.
-You love the song Popcorn Popping.
-When you get hurt you run to Mom or Dad and want us to kiss it better.
-When it is time for bed, I hear you in your room opening up drawers and getting into your shoes and socks. You unlace your tennis shoes, and unroll all your socks. Sometimes I catch you with a few beanies and hats on your head when you've finally fallen asleep.
-You go to time-out quite a few times in a day. We are learning to master this whole discipline thing together .
-You are such a sweet boy, but you've finally learned how to say,"mine" and to hit back...maybe you have learned this from nursery?
-You are growing and changing every day. I miss you as my little baby, but I can't wait for all the fun we will have together as you grow!
xoxo,
Mom
